I have an ES8 + ES3 combo, if it was to do again I would buy an ES9. As mdoudoroff said, it's a pain to manage multiple audio interfaces, and the ES8 is missing balanced outputs to go to the monitors. An other advantage of the ES9 is its use as a mixer, even without any computer connected. The headphone interface is a bonus, but there is many cheap 2hp modules able to do the job with an ES8.
