Tom Oberheim celebrate 50 years of synth design this year, will he crown his life’s work in a similar way Dave Smith did for his 70s birthday?
As well known the Two Voice is Mr Oberheim’s the favorite among his creations, basically 2x SEM that was his first synth. The SEM was a game changer and still is. I believe it’s not unthinkable, but make sense, we possibly will see the circle concluded this year of celebration, with the patriarch of Oberheim synths of which his new synths still has that DNA (the SEM filter): SEM.
