I see, thanks.I put in the full quote into my previous post - I'd previously cut for brevity, but it answers the question of why the module is round robining. Ie supports the panning effect.I'm not sure why the module is round robining along the midi channels anyway? To create polyphony? 4 note polyphony should be sufficient since you can only activate one note at a time anyway. Then the module only has to change four channels?
But doesn't actual midi have polyphony anyway? I'm confused
Tbh those oddball sequenced panning features wouldnt have been my first choice..
A unison chord with subtle detune and stereo spread just to create a fatter, wider sound would be more useful to me. Like, supersaw-izing the midi voices basically. One of the "instruments" is literally a simple saw, so there's your supersaw. It's a shame that panning knob doesn't control detune/unison voices. Also, this would be achievable with one channel, so instrument CV would work.
