Yes, but with nothing patched into the inputs set to logarithmic, when just listening to the outputs for testing, there is a slightly high pitched hiss/noise that starts around 10-11 on the pot. Comparing it to my veils v2, when i have that maxed at around the 20x boost, there is of course hiss, but it’s not slightly pitched like the noise on the mixwitch that starts well before even coming close to the max clockwise position with 2x boost.Mixwitch doesn’t just attenuate signals, it can amplify signals over 2X, so it can also amplify your noise floor over 2X.Can anyone who owns a mixwitch confirm something for me? I just purchased a brand new unit, and when any of the four knobs are turned from about the noon position to fully open, there is very audible noise/hiss from the outputs, and not completely silent regardless of settings. When there are sound sources plugged in, it’s not too noticeable, but it is still there. When nothing is plugged into the inputs, you can hear the noise very prominently. Is this normal behavior, or is it supposed to be silent with the knobs clockwise? Thanks.
When audio is running through the inputs, the noise is not really noticeable, but i just wanted to make sure this is normal behavior of the module and not a defect of some sort.
