as a mastering engineer, i would say "let me handle that"...
you would hopefully provide me with some notes on where said resonances are located timecode-wise.
i would use dynamic EQ (likely a band of DMG multiplicity) to tame the issue. if i couldn't find static settings that didn't mess with the rest of the track, i would automate the dynamic eq to only work on those resonant bits.
