I made sure any settings I needed to make for a particular song were set before the song started; a few times, I had to make the rest of the band wait on me because I was having trouble seeing a patch number display or some such. Not only were LED's hard to see, but heat was a problem too. I kept a white towel over any piece of gear I wasn't using at the moment. I thought about trying to build a sunshade, but I never got around to it.
