Polyphony mode on the 223e doesn't work if you try to hold one key while freely playing another. That pretty much kills poly mode, in my opinion. It's a shame.
Another problem is that the keys may not release when you lift your finger. I think this has to do with perspiration. Note the problems seem to vary from 223e to 223e, but mine does this.
If you are buying used, make sure the firmware is V3 "PRIMO" or you will have to update it. Also note that some of them have a lot of surface wear. In some versions, the surface did not hold up well. Mine is like new (but hardly used.)
The 223e takes some time to set up. You have to dial in the CV amounts for the keys. It's great because it means you can do anything with it, but it also means there is some fiddling. Because of this you will want to press and hold the remote enable button to save your work. Better still would be to get a preset manager so you have access to all 30 preset slots in the module.
