Totally agree. I had Disting's for a while and let them go. The need to ALWAYS have the manual nearby was what soured me on it, not the sound of it or its power. I just didn't gel with always having to look things up to see what the knobs and jacks did. With the MM at least you can scan around on the screen to remember things.I got tired of the distings of the world were you leave for a few weeks and forget your settings. Even an O_c was horrible to menu dive.
This is one reason I let go of every version of the Nord Modular except the G2 I have owned, because the G2 had readouts above the knobs to remind you what they did, whereas the others didn't. I'm looking hard at the Ksoloti (with the Big Genes Eurorack module front end) as the other alternative to the MM. The MM has a lot of options with the planned expansion modules though, and may be more friendly.
