Just adding my voice to the chorus of people wanting this omission fixed in the firmwareI agree it needs this a been thinking how they could address this in a firmware update. So when I/the module rolls the dice, it rolls always for all 4 channels...
So when I have 1 spot-on sequence but the other 3 are not, I have no chance to correct this from within the modules possibilities. I would have to record the 1 sequence then roll all again, maybe record another...rinse, repeat... but then I have fixed/deterministic sequences and can't use the controls of the Gambut to really play the sequence any longer. This 4 channel concept is not well thought through from my perspective.
The way I see it, this has 1 usable channel, which kills it for me, sry.
It’s hard to see how they could lock down individual channels with the current physical layout.
To resolve this issue just implement a quick double/triple click of the reset button to enter ‘memory protect’ mode track 1 will start flashing then tap the reset button to cycle through 1,2,3,4 with a long press of the reset button the LED of 1,2,3 or 4 will stay lit to indicate ‘memory protected’ so that pattern is protected from randomisation. Then another double/triple click to exit the memory protect menu.
Resetting all 4 channels is a buzzkill when you have a solid groove going.
