Probably no need to upgrade if you are not getting any parameter jumps which was the main fix. The mkII changed the gate input to a dedicated accent input and renamed the trigger input to gate. The accent allows control of accent via CV so you can subtly modulate accent which is great for movement and also trigger kicks with it as well if you want a second input triggering other kicks.I have been wondering if I should upgrade to the mkII from the mkI and if I am missing anything. Off the top of your head, do you know what's different between the two?it has a few enhancements and bug fixes, but essentially sounds the same. Why specifically the mkII over the mkI?I think this (the Mk II) is the best modular drum module on the market. It’s extremely easy to dial in all sorts of different kicks. I prefer it to the SSF UK which I also have and like. I wonder why people just seem to look past it. Maybe because it’s not black.Jomox Modbase 09
I agree though, nothing I have tried comes close to the jomox for both the variety and the quality of the kick drum sounds you can get out of them. I found the SSF Ultra Kick to be pretty underwhelming actually and will probably sell mine.
