Yes, the TC913A/B are limited to (generally) 15V power supplies. Wrt 15-30V, I was referring mainly to later-generation CMOS process op amps which definitely do not support such high voltage swings but do have small hundreds of µV offset voltage. I have been intentionally ignoring SOIC analog devices for a very long time. So, it's now quite clear from the research that kimball (and guest, and many others ...) have done that my non-attendance to newer information has led me to some ignorance about SOIC op amp specs. This is fair, so thank-you; I appreciate knowing more than I did before.True of the TC913 limited to 17V total supply! Plenty of 36V parts in modern processes for people who are comfortable with SOIC packages.Though, many of those more modern parts cannot handle 15-30V or larger swings.
In particular, thanks kimball for sharing your spreadsheet and flow-chart.
However, I will still not use SOIC or surface mount technology for my SDIY work, under any circumstances whatsoever.
