Great that you are happy with it. I finally ordered the V2 upgrade kit but they are taking their time giving it to UPS.Brand new V2 has been in my possession now for about a week. It's wild revisiting this sequencer after so many years. I can see how I have evolved as a producer as I go through re-learning this machine, just due to how much more of it I am using the second go around. I am basically hands on learning everything that I will need to know to get back to producing tracks on it.
Most overwhelming thing for me is how easy it is to make great ideas, just by sculpting melodies, using FTS, punching stuff in and messing around. It's so easy to come up with quality ideas that it's almost too much at once. Not sure how to describe it, but I have had a lot of hardware sequencers , plus software ones and this thing just makes it so easy to generate lines that work perfectly for techno/house or really anything.
Best example I can give is how easy it is to just punch in random steps, sculpt some notes, throw in some random ties and it's instant acid on a 303. Easiest way to sequence a 303, I have ever experienced and I have the ABL 303 with it's generative sequencer plus AICD in Ableton. But this is just so much better.
Anyway, back to it.
