I did indeed test the 1v/oct tracking on one of the outputs. Just a disclaimer, I don't really need precise 1v/oct coming out of Bitwig. I'm just as happy running a tempo-synced LFO through a sample+hold and quantizer, however I did want to test for drift which is something that does concern me. So I busted out the frequency counter, precision voltage sources, and calibrated a modern VCO. It's within 1 cent over 8 octaves no sweat. Playing from my Keystep 37, it is once again within 1 cent over 8 octaves. I gotta give props to Arturia on that one.
Now sending 1v/oct from output 1 of the optxv2, I use a Bitwig HW CV Instrument and put it into manual mode. I adjust the range to scale the output a bit. I'm able to get it within 3 cents over 8 octaves. I'm pretty happy with that, and the good news is that there was no drifting after letting it sit for 30 minutes. I'm confident I could get the tracking down to within 1 cent if the range value in the Bitwig HW Instrument wasn't limited to 2 decimal places.![:bang:]( "very frustrating")
