I have only enjoyed the privilege of performing live twice (well, as a solo artist anyway). Both times, I rehearsed a specific set, with no intention of creating a consistently repeatable piece or collection of pieces. I have no catalog of songs or compositions, only recordings.
The first time I played live, I forgot to press the record button on my DAT recorder, so that piece is long gone. Although I remember the devices I used to make it, I no longer have all of them, and at this point I would have no way to reconstruct it from memory anyway.
The second time I played live, I was mixing from a DAW, so naturally I still have the file. However, I didn't record the room audio, as I didn't think it important given how well prepared — overprepared, I would say — I came to the show with a PC and mixer. Later, and I mean years later, I returned to the track I played live and finished it for release. The released track is somewhat different from what I played live, with the addition of a few supplemental sounds, but the stems are the same. If I had to play that same piece live again, it would technically be possible, but I don't consider it in principle a consistently repeatable part of a catalog.
