It does not have to do with FM, it's a simple core crosstalk. My best advice for purer waves is to set the unused oscillator to a lower register, when possibleSubtle for sure. I'm usually using some pretty high end headphones when I hear it the most. Will try inserting a dummy cable in the FM inputs to see if it can be defeated when I'm looking for some pure waves.I tested this on my Brenso and it’s subtle but it’s present. Will do, to be honest I hadn't even considered reaching out as it doesn't really interfere with my usage, but for such a perfect module it's the one thing that bothers me, a bit. I'll report back after I reach out.Did you check frap support? Don't think this is intended behaviour and don't notice it on mine. They are usually very responsive and helpful.Frap Tools Benso - Favorite oscillator of all time for me, but I hate that the green oscillator bleeds into the yellow oscillator sine wave output even at zero FM.
I ran a simple (slow) melody from USTA into the yellow oscillator v/oct and a more random pattern from Sapel into the green v/oct. (I combined n+1 and n^1 sections with 333 to get a wide frequency range)
I dialed FM and the follow circuit to zero (full CCW) and could hear the slight cross-talk when monitoring the sine output for yellow. For triangle and square it was hard to detect.
It’s subtle enough to the a non-issue for me.
