Did you ever figure it out? The sections are separate, but the VCF will chop off enough frequencies to silence the output, acting like a low pass gate. Maybe that’s what was happening to you?Is the VCA hardwired to the cutoff CV when no mod is connected for it? This has me scratching my head a little.
