In order to use analog clock correctly, you will always need two signals:I use the 'Kairos' module as the master clock, sending the clock signal to the '6equencer.' When I start Kairos, everything runs smoothly. However, when I press stop, Kairos automatically jumps to the first step, while the 6equencer remains on the current step. To bring the 6equencer back to the first step, I have to send a reset signal to the RES/RS. Or did I misunderstand something? It doesn't automatically return to the first step when I start it, regardless of the clock mode settings. Have I overlooked a setting? To send the signal, I would need to install an additional module, for which there is no space available. Hence, my question about a manual reset function.
- A clock
- A reset signal, or start/stop signal
This is true for basically every sequencer, not just 6equencer. Without the second signal, 6equencer can not know when to reset to the start position.
There may be some modules that implement a timeout: When no clock is received for a certain amount of time, they reset automatically. But that has a lot of disadvantages, especially in eurorack where there are often very slow clocks and triggers.
