Super cool!!That's sort of the case. The filter modes, including the PPG filter, are still in the Sledge, but not from the front panel. You can however get to them via midi, and once saved to a patch you can duplicate a patch, and get to them that way.The Sledge runs a simplified Blofeld engine: Only one of the oscillators has wavetables, Blofeld has two. It's missing the second filter + routing options, as well as several filter types; notch, comb, the PPG lowpass filter. Has far more limited FM. Has no ring modulator. Has half the number of envelopes. Has fewer LFOs. Has only one filter drive algorithm and no filter FM. Has no sample loading or user wavetables. Has no mod matrix.
There are some other Blofeld features hidden in the Sledge. I made a ctrlr panel that provides access to the ones I was able to discover.
Also, the Sledge does do sample loading. I think it can hold something around 60mb of samples, and there are some nice factory samples that can be downloaded for free. A free mapping program is available, and samples are uploaded via USB.

And no additional sample license required for Sledge (which is the case for the Blofeld) I guess?
