just reported this bug on github, it could be a hardware problem, if any of you is having an idea :
AFG2 does not allow this trick properly : A simultaneous pulse to start and stop is the same as the manual advance switch.
Using a samodular 248 rev 2.5s (black pcb) , with this firmware : RC1 2.66 2022-09-05 , I get the following problem :
AFG2 does not react well when a simultaneous pulse is sent to START/STOP.
the internal clock still plays and advance steps on it, messing up the timmings.
AFG1 does not exhibit this problem at all, it's functionning as described, without anything weird.
Interestingly, the led on the mode sections blink like this : GREEN then RED then GREEN then RED , changing "color" after each pulse on AFG2 (START and STOP) , it stay red the whole time on AFG1 with the same pulse plugged into START/STOP (ie, all 4 inputs receiving the same pulse).
Could it be a bug, or do you believe it's likely hardware ?
actually got the same problem when patching START and STROBE with the same pulse on AFG2, the internal clock somewhat still run. AFG1 is perfectly fine anyway.
