I have had both René mk2 and Bloom (and black sequencer, hermod, hermod+, eloquencer, Digitakt, korg seq.. ) currently i am using Marbles which I really like. Don't think I'll ever get tired of it as it is just so useful as sequencer or modulation hub. I am replacing my Bloom with a 4ms Catalyst Sequencer. Haven't tried it yet but read the manual many times and seen videos. It seems very fun and quite deep but without menus etc. Take alook at it!
René mk2 was one of the most fun sequencer i have had. You really need to learn it and use its deeper functions but then it gets a lot of fun. I do miss it sometimes.
Bloom's UI is just lacking functionality to make it work properly for me. Just changing notes is like walking blindfolded. I much prefer Marbles for the random stuff i can get out of Bloom. Not to say that Bloom can't be very inspiring, but yeah it seems the Catalyst Sequencer is much better thought out (we'll see).
I have looked at tete+tetrapad, but I only see the live playing where the tetrapad is setup to play a bit like keys, to be worth it. Otherwise it is just way too much screen+encoder diving (it seems to me).
