actually, looking back at the pic on the previous page, i think pots for panning makes more sense than the real estate needed for sliders. panning to me is a somewhat set and forget kinda thing so i think the stacked pots, while not ideal, would be fine overall. unless it was really hard to turn one without touching another, but pan not being so incredibly sensitive to small adjustments, would likely be fine.
