Of course I have a few questions for owners and the Creator Martin. Again Great, Great piece of gear.
* When locking/setting step with the POKE to less than 6-7 LED lights there is no sound coming from the unit, even with GATE on max. I do understand that these are passive voices that needs "some" energy to get going but then why not recalibrate firmware to some exponential or logarithmic curve so that we get more variety using all 16 levels. Then I could record voice 5 with a melody![:)]( "smile")
This would be great - there's some nice sounds around the point that it goes silent, finer control of this would be really nice.
This is a feature (if I understand you correctly) If you press [FUNC] + [CTL RST], you can then select control all and it has no effect as it waits for input. The way it is nice as you can switch between states if you want to.* When engaging CTL-ALL on a running track that has some locks/steps programmed, then the sound changes immediately. Wouldn't this be a bug ? I believe the sound should not change If I don't touch any of the POKE/GATE/TILT knobs. I would argue that all steps with a recorded value should average with the value when you first move any of the 3 mod knobs.
This is a bit annoying, hopefully there is a way of retaining the pattern length?* Why random Pattern function shortens all the tracks to 16 steps ? Design decision or bug ?
SCROOGE is brilliant though, I can't remember having so much fun with something as immediately as this. Definitely looking to try out an ELMYRA. I picked up the pre built standalone version recently. I'm far too stupid to build it myself and my soldering is really quite bad.
