Did you try the SSF Stereo Dipole? This is a beast also, with plenty of modulation. The 100 grit sounded good too, but with that on top of a Bastl Ikarie too, could be pushing it Image may be NSFW.I had one of these, alongside a 100 Grit. I think they are very different. Not only in features, but in sound. I ended up letting go of the Triptych.
It has so many great features that should have made it a keeper, namely the versatility of the multimode filter and the positions of the drive, but I just didn't really enjoy the sound of the filter and distortion/overdrive, especially compared to the 100 Grit (which I will never get rid). The best part of the Triptych is the comb filter that it has, it really is a beast on the low setting of the sweep. I just didn't use it enough to keep it around.
