So if I send audio from a Push 3 to the OPTX will it be boosted to modular level or do I need to crank it super loud in the push? Is there enough gain in the push to even do that?

Hi. Audio and CV will both output from Optx at eurorack levels. If your audio signal hits the maximum in the DAW of 0dB, then it will be the full scale +/-10V when Optx converts to analog. A normal signal at -6dB will be +/-5V (10Vpp).
