Thanks! I think a trigger less mode would be a useful addition!
By quality knob I assume you mean the main encoder. Is there a way to trigger a chord update when modulation is sent to the quality knob? I can't send a trigger every time it changes value.
I don't think the encoder will trigger.
But there is a Chord Keyboard mode using [Arp/Chord]+[RGB n] that is the not-quiet version of the explicit Scale Shift (mode select) [Shift]+[RGB n].
[Shift]+[RGB n] selects a mode(1-8).
[Arp/Chord]+[RGB n] selects a mode (1-8) and triggers the current chord pattern. (e.g. if you are in C Major and have buttons 1-3-5 enabled, [Arp/Chord]+[RGB 2] will shift to the relative D Dorian and sound a D minor triad.)
Alas, I'm not so sure you can modulate [Arp/Chord]+[RGB n].
The encoder can be configured to transmit MIDI CCs. So maybe one could do something with that such that it would result in a CV trigger or a MIDI note coming into the device.
