Interesting, why people are calling things like ARP 2600 or MS-20 - semi-modular.
In terms of putting modules in and out, you can't do it with them.

It is not necessary for insert-removal to be part of calling something modular.
Modular homes have parts which are? 'insertable' but not -generally-removable.

So, in this case they are semi-modular cause you can patch some sources of MODULation

I *do* see your wink. But there is a better? -simpler- answer than that.
