SubH/DFAM was my first foray into modular. Got the M32 soon after. I like the SubH most, followed by DFAM. Tuning is a pain though. It wasn't until I incorporated the Droid system for quantization that I really started to jive with it. It requires clocking to the polyrhythm, which I thing (it's been a while) can be done with 2 or 3 of the right modules...or of course something like Droid where you have every utility at your fingertips.
And there's nothing quite like the glorious sound of Moog vcos & filter.
That said, I haven't used it in ages. 60hp is just way too much real estate. If I ever get my main case to a stable place, I'll rebuild the 5 tier Moog tower with Godfather, SIG, and the new 4ms Catalyst. That's sure to be an epic combo!
