This is for the folks who claim to know what Synthex sounds like, and that Xerxes doesn't sound like one, to figure out.Curious to know which is which!
I think the tone of the Xerxes is excellent and modern sounding, though I haven’t heard the updated VCA of the MK2.
There is not much difference in the sound between Mk1 and Mk2. If anything, Mk2 has slightly higher noise floor for some reason.
