Last week I passed a Thonk order for pots and LED switches with one LED colour substituted because they didn’t have it in stock. I literally got the “back in stock” email right after “your order has shipped” email.![:doh:]( "d'oh!")
I also like adding things I’m missing to my Mouser basket and only order once it reaches a threshold that makes it worth the order. In practice I never use the parts I have ordered straight away on my current project, so that kind of works fine for me.
Even after double checking and triple checking, I still manage to miss things that I’m either ordering twice, or forgot to add.
It’s all about how much time you are willing to spend to do it right. At one extreme end, you won’t ever miss anything if you take an infinite amount of time to check your orders…![:hihi:]( "hihi")
