Interesting context and as you say it was a pretty easy fix by the tech. The switch in there is nice and recessed and doesn't seem easy to knock about.As I recall the 115/230 switch became hard to get at some point - and there was always the risk of it getting knocked to the wrong position - so we started hard-wiring the transformers for the customer's specific supply voltage. But what that means is that it will be very easy for a competent tech to rewire it for you. Or even fit the switch - which if you think you may head back to 115 Volt land at some point, will be more convenient.
