I have a few firmware wishes:
1. The ability to just play it chromatically via MIDI would be useful.
2. Frequency knobs often don't work for me until the sequencer is running, that should be fixed.
3. The MIDI LED blinks when receiving signal for a different channel. That's a bug. Mother-32 doesn't do that.
4. A mode that instead of subharmonics can just let you set any note in the sequencer and tuning. Those are software-controlled already. This would allow for arbitrary chords, which would be super useful.
5. It would be amazing if it worked with the MIDI song position pointer so restarting the transport in the DAW would always sound the same. Now this is more of a "set it and record it because you might never get this exact rhythm again".
But my wishes for SubH are more hardware issues so more of a "Mark 2" situation.
1. The Trigger input doesn't trigger from Mother-32 Gate output. That's a missed opportunity.
2. We have two envelopes, but only one trigger! Separate trigger CVs would be awesome. If those triggers were sustaining gates, even better!
3. Ideally the signal chains of each side of SubH would be separate, so a separate filter and VCA. Triggering one seq wouldn't automatically trigger the other unless so patched. Stereo output. That would be extremely versatile.
4. Add one external audio input per each side. Maybe instead of SUB2 to reuse the mixer knob. That would allow you to route external signals via the animated filter.
