Recently acquired Caput Draconis, really interesting module as I thought it would be but I've a couple of questions. It mentions the default mode and I also keep thinking of a starting point, I'm assuming this means all modes ccw but where should all the X and y pots sit? Also ccw? Doesn't really seem that way.

I also can't seem to get any reaction out of the audio input, this isn't necessary a problem as I'm already getting interesting sounds that I like but I feel like it's fundamental for me trying to understand the flow.

Cheers for any tips or any other tips anyone would like to share.
To use Caput to process audio I like to start with all knobs Ccw except the upper left 2 knobs fully clockwise. Then use the lowest left knob as a sort of filter ti allow the audio to pass through. Then you can start playing with the other X Y knobs to continue messing with the signal. Finally play with the mode knobs, but you are likely to lose the signal when the rungling gets too complex.

I guess I’d consider default mode as the place where things are the least unpredictable (if that’s possible !) It’s good to go back to when things fall apart or the SRs run to silence. I don’t think there is meant to be a default setting of the X Y knobs. Again, that lower left knob seems the most consistent in what it does. You can even use that input to try and make meolodies if you dare.
