Just read that he was actually the one to introduce the mellotron to John Lennon which of course lead to Paul playing the intro to Strawberry Fields Forever. Then in a couple years, King Crimson bought their first mellotron from the Moodies and the rest is prog rock history. I always attributed the birth of the mellotron/prog rock connection to The Beatles but turns out Mike Pinder really started the ball rolling and deserves the credit![:hail:]( "we're not worthy")
