the signals will be small, around 50mV or less. start with the input and follow the signal to the transistor ladder. check pin2 of Q5 for signal. if its there, then check the collectors of each transistor in the ladder for signal. if you had one bad solder joint, there may be another, and those transistors are pretty small.
