You can totally use it as a sequencer with the tools you mentioned. It’s actually pretty fun that way. It just won’t let you do anything completely intentional, but there are ways to keep it refreshing with new sequences.Is it possible for the Pams Pro Workout to be a step sequencer? Everything built into the software should mean it’s possible, with the quantizer, Euclidean steps and note division etc. Seems like the UI would be the most difficult solve.
It’s likely asking too much and I love the module for all it does, so forgive if I’m overstepping here. I’d just had the thought a couple weeks ago that you could reuse some of the user interface from the Euclidean and Rest features, push the encoder in to enter a step along the chosen sequence length, then long press to edit the note from a quantized scale.
Would make a perfect pairing for small performance cases with squid to really maximize that combo.
