Image may be NSFW.In CL world I think of stereo more like two channels. With the Cocoquantus, Plumbutter, and Stuber, for example, there are entire sections dedicated to each channel. For the organs, they are designed to use both the verso and inverso directions of a gesture to get two channels from one “input.” Then with the tocantes they make more sense mono because there isn’t a duality to the design. In my opinion, I think Peterlin is more like the tocantes in that regard because even though there are two oscillators they work together to create one voice. Of course, you could always patch out from the bananas to create a stereo image, one channel from each oscillator.
Clik here to view.

Peter likes to set up dichotomies in his instruments generally: see "drum vs drama" in Plumbutter, "bounds vs bounce" in Tetrax/Sidrax and the IFM modules, etc. In my experience with his instruments I've typically found "stereo" functionality to be conducive to creating completely separate worlds in each output channel, which is something I like.
