I attended a seminar by Haas in undergrad and spent way too much time thinking about, uh, thatbtw i also recommend the film the artist & the pervert for an intimate portrait of haas and his wife and their way of loving/living.
As far as spectralism is concerned, Tristan Murail is still around but now retired. Here's a piece of his that I'm partial to:
