The 0V reference for the two traces are different by 2 grid units as can be seen by the yellow and purple triangles on the lower left side. If you adjust the vertical position of the purple trace until the purple triangle overlaps the yellow, you will find that the top of the squarewave will be the same as Vcc.scope.jpg
regarding the work with the scope - I'm pressing auto setup to see clearly the waves.
in the above picture we can see the output wave(yellow) is swing between 0V and 8V~ while the purple one (Vcc) is sitting in the middle. Why?
I should see it rafly at the top swing of the yellow waveform (?)
