Thanks Alan, I'll give that a try. I guess it lowers the cpu load a little to not have so many encoder instances.You want just one instance of encoder, say in the first channel, with the output routed to your ES-5. Add that instance as an effect into the remaining channels by selecting the effect node and choosing it from the “Multi-bus audio unit instances” on the Inserts and Effects menu. Then disconnect the outputs from the additional channels. On the first channel, set ESX Module 1 to 8GT and select the left channel of each input bus (1←, 2←, etc) on the appropriate rotary controls (which correspond to the outputs on the ES-5).
As a side note, miRack will do the CV to midi CC conversion.
