this is an awesome solution, especially with a soundstage ii next to the sidecar for more inputs.I might be a little late to the party but this is what I’d go with given the parameters:
2x Bubblesound Boosters for 8x line to modular level - 4hp
WORNG SideCar for proper accurate level control with faders - 18hp
ALM Jumble Henge for stereo and spectral separation and mixdown - 8hp
4ms Wav Recorder for recording - 6hp
Instruo Cuir for high quality headphone and line out with individual level controls - 4hp
Total 40hp with the ability to mix 8 line inputs (or 4 stereo) plus another 8 euro (or whatever combination you like) down to stereo in a way that will sound great without the need for external EQ. Plus real proper faders to mix the most important elements of the mix on.

As an upgrade you could swap the Wav recorder for an external field recorder (I use a Sound Devices MixPre 6) and swap the Jumble Henge for a SoundStage II, that would give you more inputs to mixdown, more mix options and upgraded audio quality.
smallest thing - the cuir could be easily doubled (for a second pair of phones) outside of the case too.
