Pretty sure you can sync the internal lfos & envs to incoming midi clock

Yeah, you just can't sync the start of the LFO phase to MIDI clock.

That’s what the envelopes are for.

But you can’t currently, for example, send your midi signal that triggers your kick drum to the AH+FX to trigger the envelope for the sidechain?
