Thank you for the insight and the good faith reply to my sort of snarky post. I'm curious; if a patch you made somehow wound up in a context where you weren't expecting to hear it (an unrelated movie from a different studio for example, or a song on the radio) and used in a different way, do you think you might recognize it? Alternately, do you think Marvel has someone with the ears and expertise to be able to say "that's an asset created for Multiverse of Madness" and not just a similar sound? (To be clear, I am skeptical especially of the latter scenario but I'm genuinely asking and would take your word for it if the answer is yes! It wouldn't surprise me if working at a certain corporate level could sort of reprogram your brain to think about sound design in a different way; like maybe you have a different relationship to where you end up if you were aware of who owned all the roads not taken on the way there. Which I imagine couldn't be said of most musicians who aren't doing work for hire, even famous recording artists.)
