Here's a picture of the 112 touch pad board. The 112 is similar to the 114, the only difference is that the ground plane is expanded. Saves on etchant when etching the board. Same deal as above when building the 112.

Oh, and when building any of the Buchla touch controllers, I strongly advise against coating them with varnish or any other type of finish. They are not capacitance sensors so much as resistance sensors. They work much better just bare. The ones we are building here fabricated by La67 are 'tinned', so they won't oxidize anyway. The tin coating appears to be pretty thick, so I don't think they'll wear through to the underlying copper anytime soon. If and when mine wear through, I might re-tin them, and maybe post something here or on my website about it.

I know many people have put a finish on these (I believe Don Buchla did early on). I did it on the first 216r I built, and regretted it after trying someone else's 216r that wasn't coated. Pain in the butt scraping all that varnish off!
