At least a quick google didn't come up with results that would indicate the earlier Distings have it either?Os is on record as saying all EX and Mk4 algorithms will be ported over at some point. So, I expect the E4, E5, and E6 compressor algorithms from the Mk4 to make it. Just a matter of when the work hits the top of the priority queue.I was wondering if you might add a compression algorithm at some point? I would love to use it to add compression on a drum mix as well as add compression to the final mix then send that into the audio recorder algorithm. Thanks for all you do!
For example, I could really use OTT-style (the famous Ableton MB compressor preset) simultaneous upwards and downwards compression for brutal squashing directly in eurorack. It's the only thing I have to open up my PC for when making dnb/jungle basses.
I also wanted to bring up that I'd really like the ability to write my own "algorithms"/plugins for the disting in C, since Os specifically asked whether there would be interest for this in the ES Discord
