An Akai CD3000i to pair with my E4XT. If I want to sample from inputs I'd want to use the E-Mu anyway, and the Akai is maxed out with RAM, fresh backlight, working CD drive which can sample audio sample CDs, and it came with a ZuluSCSI and a license for Translator Pro.
Also got an ART ECC (Effects Command Center), it's one of the earliest multi-effects pedalboard-type devices I'd been shopping for a few years. Half of the effects in it, particularly the distortion, are analog, while the reverbs/delays/modulation effects are digital. Scored it super cheap because the seller didn't know that it needs 9V AC instead of 9V DC. A slab of solid 80s American steel.
