I just tried this and it kind of worked. What did make it convincing, though, was tuning 6N to 127/1 and then putting an attenuator between 1N and INTONE. Not quite a self-patch, but this way you can have up to 5 bouncing balls at the same time by retuning 2N-6N to different rates. The output is better with a little sharpening up.I don't have the module in front of me either, but I think it goes something like this:
- Ramp up wave
- 1N / identity self-patched to INTONE
- Use 6N output
