The write protect switch can be implemented by attaching it to WE.

My CZ-1+RA-3's battery ran out and the data disappeared. Based on this fact, we are designing using FRAM instead of SRAM.
Unfortunately, I'm busy at the moment, so production will be delayed.![:doh:]( "d'oh!")
If you are interested, why not give it a try?
Gather the parts and assemble them on the breadboard.
The prototype will be housed in a through-hole board and 3D printed case.
Or it's fun just to have it built in and attach a bank switch.
Because I was fully satisfied with CZ-1+RA-3.
You also want the Korg POLY-800 to be battery-less, right?![;)]( "wink")
